Über die Lügen und Mythen der konventionellen Krebstherapien

Die Alkoholprohibition in Amerika wurde 1933 nach 14 Jahren aufgeben, weil ihre Nebenwirkungen weitaus schädlicher waren als der Alkohol selbst - aus kleinen Gangsterbanden mit italienischem, irischem und jüdischem Migrationshintergrund waren milliardenschwere Konzernsyndikate geworden, die mit Korruption und Gewalt schon ganze Städte und Landkreise unterwandert hatten. Mittlerweile ist es wieder so weit: In Mexiko, dem Transitland für den Drogenschmuggel in die USA, sind durch Bandenkriege in den letzten Jahren über 40 000 Menschen ums Leben gekommen.

Drogen in den USA "New York Times" startet Kampagne für Cannabis-Legalisierung
In Amerika weht ein neuer Wind, und er duftet süßlich. Die angesehenste Zeitung des Landes fordert: Gebt das Hanf frei! Die "New York Times" vergleicht das Drogenverbot mit der Prohibition der zwanziger Jahre. Außerdem sei es rassistisch. Die New York Times spricht sich in einer Kampagne für Legalisierung von Cannabis aus.
Die Redaktion vergleicht in dem Leitartikel das seit mehr als vier Jahrzehnten von Cannabis gültige Verbot mit den Zeiten der Prohibition von 1920 bis 1933. Damals waren Herstellung und Verkauf von Alkohol in den Vereinigten Staaten strikt untersagt. Die Autoren weisen darauf hin, dass genussfreudige Menschen schon während der Prohibition weitergetrunken hätten, wodurch "gesetzestreue Bürger zu Kriminellen gemacht wurden und Verbrechersyndikate ihre Blütezeit erlebten". Auch das Marihuanaverbot "füge der Gesellschaft großen Schaden zu, nur um eine Substanz zu verbieten, die weitaus weniger gefährlich ist als Alkohol."

Dabei hat Cannabis eine lange Geschichte als Heilpflanze, die bis ins 3. Jahrtausend vor Christus zurückreicht. Erst in der ersten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts wurden Cannabispräparate zunehmend vom Markt genommen und schließlich sogar verboten. Heute zeigt sich weltweit ein geteiltes Bild. Haben Länder wie Uruguay oder die US-Bundestaaten Colorado und Washington Cannabis komplett legalisiert, ist es in weiteren 20 US-Bundestaaten, Kanada, den Niederlanden, Tschechien, Italien oder auch Israel nur für den medizinischen Gebrauch legal.
